Represented Artist's Exhibit
Forty artists from the nonprofit artist’s cooperative; the Wallkill River School are inviting the public to a live demonstration on Feb. 4 (snow date Feb. 11) from 5-7pm. These artists will be creating artworks using art techniques varying from traditional oil, pastel, acrylic, and watercolor painting, to palette knife painting and portraiture. The creative process varies from artist to artist, and the goal of these demonstrations is to give the community insight into the unique creative process used by each of our artists. The public is encouraged to ask questions, and engage our artists in hopes of bridging the gap between artist and observer. The public is welcome to enjoy free drinks and hors d’oeuvres while mingling with working artists. If you’re curious about the creative process, considering an art class, or just want to enjoy a night of fun and creativity, come to the Wallkill River School on Feb. 4th from 5-7pm and meet the local artists that help make your community “beautiful”. The exhibit is free and open to the public from Feb. 1-28, noon to 6pm, Mon.-Sat.
